Warlock Spec Q/A

For nonhit capped locks

change suppresion as you get more hit pts.
you should almost never miss with afflc spells

as for your rotation, i found

coa, corruption, UA, Siphon life, immolate, shadow bolt shadow bolt etc..
to be teh most effective.

with this spec, you can rack redicolous amounts of damage in BG's ( and also steal kills with shadow burn )
and
do veryyy good on the meters in PvE. this is perfect spec for non hit capped locks



for you hit capped locks go


your rotation is
summon succubus, sacrifice her, and Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt,Shadow bolt get the point ? lol

for this spec, get spell hit capped ( or very close to it), stack spell damage adn spell crit. +1000 spell damage with 20% crit (unbuffed, w/o talents) should equal over 1k dps.



Tips!!

remember you dont want to stack hit cap, cuz then your spell damage will be crappy as hell
but you dont want to stack spell damage, cuz then youll never hit.
stack em both together.
as for certain gear, you can be hit capped out of kara with the gear from there.
cenarion expedition also has a rep ring that is freaking amazing
the spirit shards one is decent if you want it.

once you are close to hit cap (202, once you hit 180 thats "close" lol)
you want to start your Destro Set. which is all Crit/Spell damage ( while staying hit capped)
so teh ring of reccurence would be good from kara some good pants drop in heroic bm etc...

and i almost forgot Arena Locks

this all depends what you want to do.
if you wanan damage go UA (but you will die. fast.)
if you wanna actually live go SL/SL



what you want to do is fel puppy, (make sure you activiate soul link)
stick him on teh healer ( or caster if no healer is present)
Cures of Exhaust on any melee,
Curse of tounges any healer,
dot the shit outta everything ( cept if its being CC'ed - except fear)
CC one guy whether fear death coil w.e lets your teammate kick ass
drain healers mana. and drain health to heal your ass.
you dont do much damage as this spec, but you never will die,
and last but not least, be smart.
look at your enemy. WoW is a giant Rock Paper Scissor Gun
and warlocks are the gun. but guns dont kill people, stupid peopel kill people.
(in this case, smart people lol)


sounds pretty extensive, but hey, banging your head on the keyboard doesnt work like it used to.

last thing, dotn ever go destro for arenas.
shadow bolt is such a long cast. and you rely HEAVILY on crit.
since there is so much resilience out there, youll be lucky if you hit someone for 1k.
and not only that, but youll be wtf pwnd in a matter of secs.
and your dots are worthless, they remind me of shadow priest dots, a joke.
